It’s a second spring here in the garden once again 
Last week I sowed all kinds of leafy greens that will feed us between October and May next year 
Crops including:
- Chinese cabbage
- New Brunswick cabbage
- Cauliflower
- Kohlrabi
- Romanesco
- Tatsoi
- Bok choi
- Spinach
- Rocket
- Mustard
- Asian salad leaves
- Arctic King Lettuce
- Chicory
I’ve also direct sown radishes, turnips and beet leaves and will sow the last crop of carrots today 
The most important thing to remember when trying to live as self-sufficiently as possible is to plan almost a year ahead and sow crops to grow through the winter!
Not one bed will lay empty in my garden at any time of year to ensure the most efficient use of the land we have!
