The rose bushes are growing well in the shade of the greenhouse. Making cuttings is a great way of creating new plants for free.
Spring or early summer is a perfect time to make rose cuttings or of any perrennial plants. It can also be done in autumn as I did here but you are more likely to be successful using new shoots or growth as you would see earlier in the year.

Here are examples of other perennials we can take cuttings from:
Elder,
Forsythia,
Willow,
Hydrangea,
Honeysuckle,
…and much more!
One of my favorite things about creating cuttings is being able to share the new plants with family and friends.
