Planting, planting and more planting 
The red onions, peas, beans and salads have been planted out and a load of seedlings are filling up the greenhouse 
The simplest way to plant onions is with a small dibber like this or a brush handle. I create a hole and plant the plants straight in. I’ll leave a gap of about 10cm between them to allow for easy weeding without damaging the onions 
Remember to water the onions regularly during the current dry weather, this will prevent them from going to seed.
