Keeping the sweet peas in bloom throughout the summer is an annual challenge!
Their bright colours and fragrant perfume bring so much enjoyment to the garden 
The dry and settled weather is great for letting the plants and flowers form – there’s nothing worse than strong winds to tear them from their structures 
This recent dry weather and borderline drought conditions, however it’s starting to affect them with the leaves starting to fall and the plants clearly needing rain 
Remember to water the plants regularly and continue to cut their flowers for homemade bouquets. Doing this will encourage the plants to continue flowering until at least October!
