This part of the garden has been empty since we moved here almost 7 years ago and finally this year we have had the opportunity to start developing the flower garden 
We started the work to establish the no dig borders back in January placing layers of cardboard on top of the weedy grass and then heaps of soil and compost 
We have planted a mixture of perennials and annuals including Nepeta, Gladioli, Kniphofia, Coreopsis, Dahlia, Salvias, Penstemon, Achillea and many more 
It will take several years to fully mature and I can’t wait to see the change that will come with time
