Here is the lovely crew that attended my companion-planting course at the Botanic Gardens of Wales today. This course was held in #Cymraeg and 6 of the members were new Welsh speakers who have learned Welsh during lockdown but with few opportunities to practice their Welsh face to face.
I met them two weeks ago in the garden when they attended my ‘Learn Welsh in the garden’ course and that’s when I asked them to set a personal challenge and consider coming to a Welsh medium course to practice their Welsh and that is exactly what they all did 
It’s vital that we create places where Welsh is the main language and create opportunities for people to practice their Welsh as a natural, day to day language.
I am over the moon and so encouraged by their amazing commitment and efforts
