Here are the tomatoes germinating after 10 days of basking on a nice warm window ledge
These are a variety of small tomatoes called ‘Peacevine’.
I decided to sow these a little earlier than usual this year following the week of lovely sunshine. I’ll be sowing more seeds every now and then to have a tomato crop sequence over the summer.
I am growing the following varieties this year:
Y Ddraig Goch – Welsh and delicious,
Moneymaker – Grandfather’s old favorite,
Mountain Magic – grow well outdoors without blight,
Peacevine Cherry – producing sweet little tomatoes that are perfect for salads or a small snack in the botshan garden,
San marzano – great for tomato sauce like passata.
