The helianthus or perennial sunflower loves this warm and settled weather 
A big thank you to @alexinwales for giving me plant roots back in April! The flowers are a magnet for all kinds of pollinators, especially hoverflies and bumblebees 
Their name ‘Helianthus‘ comes from the Greek ‘Helios‘ which means sun, and that is the origin of our name for the sun in Welsh too (Haul)
