Horticultural Training for schools in Cwm Gwendraeth

A fantastic day at the National Botanic Garden of Wales today holding a horticultural training course in partnership with Cyngor Sir Gâr for Cwm Gwendraeth schools.

The training is part of a new project to support all primary and secondary schools in the Maes y Gwendraeth cluster to establish and develop school gardens as part of the new Curriculum for Wales. The hope is to reinforce opportunities for learners and teachers to garden in a way that protects nature, respects the environment and produce healthy food locally!

I love days like today ☺️
