It’s a real pleasure to harvest a handful of tomatoes and basil from the greenhouse 
Basil pesto drizzled over the tomatoes is my definition of perfection!
One important tip – don’t keep tomatoes or basil in the fridge – it affects the sweetness of the tomatoes and turns the basil leaves black. Keep them in a bowl on the kitchen worktop!
