Tulips

I managed to take a picture of the tulips before the heavy rain! I planted these late this year in a mad rush but they have still brought a border full of colour!

Remember to remove any dead flower heads of the spring bulbs immediately to prevent the plants from wasting energy creating seeds… better in this case that the energy returns back to the bulb. A good feed of nitrogen and potassium something like liquid seaweed and hopefully these will come back full of flowers next year
